Getaway Gourmet, formerly known as Ashlie A La Carte, is a menu planning and vacation meal delivery service in the Scottsdale, AZ area run by nutritionist and gourmet cook, Ashlie Smith. There are two functions of this business: to teach and empower you to menu plan, grocery shop and eat the foods you love while saving time and your sanity. Second, if you are vacationing in the greater Phoenix area, you can order delicious, ready-to-enjoy foods to your vacation rental so that you don't have to worry about the grocery shopping or cooking while on vacation!

Hello, friend! I'm so glad you're here. I'm Ashlie, and I am here to save the day....for your food quandaries that is. I am a true foodie at heart, I grew up in the kitchen watching my mom cook the most gourmet meals, and I went on to get my master's in nutrition. I've studied food and wine, and I'm always in the kitchen trying new flavors and creating new ways to make cooking more fun and efficient. I started this business in 2023 and received all the proper licensing and permits to fulfill all necessary operations.
I am married and have two daughters and a Shiba Inu pup. I reside in the Phoenix area but was born and raised in the coastal town of Oceanside, California. I am forever a beach girl and ocean lover. I married a small town Nebraska boy, so I am well-versed in the meat department but I sure do love my health foods too.
